I think you shouldn't miss Ankara, at least beacuse of the Anatolian Civilisations Museum. I've heard their collection of Hittite artefacts is the largest in the world. I was really impressed when I visited it and I think it must be among the best museums in Turkey. It's on Hisarparki Caddesi and it's open from 8:30 am 'till 5:15 pm.
