At the time we went to Istanbul, Big Apple Hostel was the newest in Sultanahmet and rooms were €10-12. That's why we decided to go there and it seemed we had nothing to lose. Our room was loking good but it was a bit uncomfortable, we didn't have our own toilet. In the evening you can taste the rooftop restaurant's barbeques. Location - Akbiyik Caddesi Bayramfirin Sok no12.
