Sights in Istanbul are so numerous that I don't know where to go... I definitely can't visit them all. Any suggestions?(give a different answer) .
I invite you to visit the Obelisk of Theodosius, located in The Hippodrome Square. It is one of the columns from the Egyptian temple of Karnak, erected 3500 years ago. Under emperor Constantius II the obelisk was removed from Karnak and transported to Alexsandria, then ro Rome and finally to Constantinople (today Istanbul). The column initially measured 30m and weighted 400 tones.. now it's only 19.6m high.
