friendship's question: Some tips about any good sight in Istanbul? I'm planning to make a list of those on top(give a different answer) .
Even if it's called the New Mosque, Yeni Camii has a long history, being built in the 16th. I'm not to good at evaluating a mosque's value, but this one I placed it on top of my favourites... maybe because of the numerous domes and arches and the Iznik tiles. I liked there were hundreds of pigeons trying to find a shelter on one of the domes. The mosque is at the southern end of Galata Bridge.
