Sights in Istanbul are so numerous I don't know where to go... I definitely can't visit them all. Any suggestion?(give a different answer) .
An imposing monument in Istanbul, which is sometimes compared with the famous Aya Sofya is the Blue Mosque. It's called like this becaue ot its interior blue tiled wals and painted dome. The best are its six exterior minarets and domes. The mosque is built on the site of the Great Palace of Byzantium, southeastern side of the Hippodrome. Nowdays it's always open to visits, except the time daily prayers last.
