You wouldn't want to miss the atmospheric Egyptian Market (or Spice Market). in the Eminönü district, at the southern end of the Galata bridge. this bazaar is a perfect place for shopping or just admiring what vendors have to sell: spices, dried fruit, nuts and seeds. Still, you'd better not leave the market without buying the Turkish delight... the great lokum.
