Even if Sultanahmet has many internet cafes, I discovered the best connection is at Backpackers Internet Cafe, right in the centre of this area. Never had problems with the computers.They have telnet and chat programs and in case you want to edit something in Word or make a slideshow in PowerPoint there is the Office package installed.
