Differences between Istanbul's state and private hospitals

Posted 1 year ago by avatar forestgump in response to avatar frank's question: How are the state hospitals in istanbul? (give a different answer) .

I can't say state hospitals don't have good medical facilities or good doctors but those private seem to be better equipped and less crowded!! The difference is that you must pay immediately (and services are more expensive here... but not so expensive as in the European or American hospitals). A good private hospital is the American Hastanesi, Güzelbahce Sok. - Nisantasi (northweast of Talkim Sq)
