I don't know how to get from Istanbul's airport to Sultanahmet(give a different answer) .
First and easiest way: get a taxi (in 25 minutes you will be in Sultanahmet; I've heard it's around 15 euro). To pay less follow these steps: wait for the LRT (Light Rail Transit) which will get you to Akasary in 30 minutes. Then go to Yusufpasa tram stop (it's not far from Akasaray) and buy a ticket tram to Sultanahmet
